Designed for clients that wanted a contemporary, easy living and cozy home. Situation on a parcel overlooking a small inlet of the Santa Cruz coast called “Sunny Cove Beach”.

The house is oriented to take full advantage of the white water views and the backdrop of Monterey to the South.

The program included 4 bedrooms with living spaces on the 2 floors and an elevator to facilitate circulation for the whole family.

Kitchen, dining and entertainment are arranged on an open floor plan under gently curved wood paneled ceiling. Plaster veneer walls, wood floors, slate and “oxidized” Coreten steel accents are combined to achieve contemporary warmth.
